Poetry – Super Woman

After him she built her own tower,

So high she was invisible to the naked eye,

She needed time for solitude,

She was her own best friend,

Ain’t letting no damn man in again..

Inside the comfort of her own four walls,

She had found her inner peace and strength,

Only her lonely was her downfall..

So she burned that motherfucker to the ground,

Stood tall and proud.

With the middle fingers up,

No longer confined or bound,

It was her voice she found,

It was all she’d ever need,

She had reached a new level of free;

It was the Super Woman within me…
